After another cup of this... Actually, I rather like instant coffee. It's not that it's as good as brewed coffee, but if you wish, you can make it quite strong. Granted, I always drink my coffee with milk or cream. Un-creamed instant is definitely nasty. That sounded wrong somehow. This is true. I always use milk in my coffee, or cream. My wife has been known to put butter in her coffee (dry retch). I normally have a pod machine but it's in a box in storage until we move into a new house.
